Automated Billing System In a Light Fidelity Environment

This project proposes a smart shopping cart system using RFID tags and Li-Fi technology to streamline the shopping experience in supermarkets. Each product will have an RFID tag, and the cart will be equipped with an RFID reader connected to an Arduino. The system will automatically track purchased items and update the total cost in real time. Once shopping is complete, the customer can press an end button, and the total cost is transmitted to the billing section via Li-Fi, eliminating the need for conventional barcode scanning and reducing checkout time.
